Roberts Academy Community Learning Center has been recognized by the Ohio Department of Education with the Momentum Award which recognizes schools for exceeding expectations in student growth for the year. Schools must earn straight A’s on all Value-Added measures on the report card. The school must have at least two Value-Added subgroups of students, which includes gifted, lowest 20% in achievement, and students with disabilities. Roberts was the only school in the Cincinnati Public Schools district to receive this distinction and is among only 5% of schools in Ohio.
The Community Learning Center Institute has been the lead agency at Roberts since its development as a community learning center in 2010.
