The Anthony Munoz Foundation and Payless teamed up for the annual ‘Payless Gives Shoes 4 Kids’.
A bus picked up 30 students from Roberts Padeia Academy and took them to LaRosa’s on Boudinot Avenue. The kids got to make their own pizzas in the kitchen for lunch.
Afterwards, they went to Payless in the Western Hills Plaza and got some free shoes.
“We are happy to partner again with the staff at Payless for this worthy cause”, said Munoz. “Their generosity will make this season brighter for the youngsters at Roberts Padeia”.
This was the fifth year for the event.
Payless officials say the company partners with local non-profits, in an effort to help find the best places to give away more than $1.5 million worth of kids’s shoes.
