Adelyn Hall, Director of Housing and Community Revitalization for the Community Learning Center Institute, received the award for Outstanding Consultant from the Greater Cincinnati Community Development Corporation at an awards ceremony on December 5.
Hall’s work was described in the nomination letter as faciliating a “…unique process that resulted in the official adoption of a community plan that integrates school and community. In addition, she has leveraged millions of public and private dollars to help the community realize their vision.”
Hall has led the development and implementation of a school centered community revitalization plan which will double the single family home ownership, restore the neighborhood business district including the first full service grocery stores in decades, and improve the current affordable rental housing – all anchored by the Oyler Community Learning Center.
