U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown visited Oyler Community Learning Center on April 24, 2019. Senator Brown has long been a champion of community schools and introduced The Full-Service Community Schools in Distressed Communities Act to help Ohio school districts and students working to achieve academic success in light of Ohio’s addiction epidemic.
According to Brown, Cincinnati Public Schools has been a national leader in the full-service community school model. After his tour, the Senator called Oyler the “epicenter” of community schools in Ohio.
