Oyler 10th grader Jacob E. was accepted into the GE Foundation Next Engineers Engineering Academy at the University of Cincinnati. Jacob is the first Oyler student to be selected to participate in the Next Engineers Engineering Academy.
Providing over 220 hours over 3 years outside of school, the Academy includes a series of immersive design challenges, career coaching, and college-readiness workshops to equip youth with the skills they need to build an engineering career. All Next Engineers Engineering Academy Cincinnati graduates who enroll in an engineering degree program at an institution of higher education will receive a $20,000 scholarship.
