Director of Prestigious Scripps Program Visits Oyler

The Oyler Griffin, the school and community newspaper produced by Oyler high school students under the direction of teachers Joe Saylor and volunteer teacher Sandra Smythe, hosted a visit on March 19 from Dr. Robert Stewart, Director of the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University.

Oyler students have developed a close connection with the Scripps program through the summer program at the OU campus which they have attended during the past 3 years.
